This time i want to talk about immigration status, and some option for visitors and investors to get their VISA:
Here is is the options:
FIRST OPTION:
The applicants that already has visa to entry in United States Of America, European Union or Canada, valid for three months minimum.
In this case, the applicants don’t need VISA to entry in Costa Rica They can stay in Costa Rica for no more than 30 days.
SECOND OPTION:
APPLICANTS THAT HAS LEGAL RESIDENCY IN COUNTRIES LISTED BELOW,
In this case, the persons who has visa of the following countries, will be able to request for consular visa in that country of legal permanency, whenever they present before the respective Costa Rican Consul, the document that credits that legal permanence They can stay in Costa Rica for no more than 30 days.

THIRD OPTION:
ENTREPRENEUR OR BUSINESSMEN VISA
This VISA is given to entrepreneur OR BUSINESSMEN, to get this visa is needed at least:
1. Someone in Costa Rica with a Power of Attorney, to represent them in the process and in front Immigration offices, or ask for the VISA in his country.-
2. Documents needed:
a. Birth Certificate
b. Criminal records issued by the government where he lived in last two years.
c. A Certificate copy of his passport.
d. A document that shows he is a businessman or an entrepreneur.
e. A document that shows he has a solvent financial status (bank statements, certificates, properties, real states etc) in last three years.
f. Guarantee deposit of 50 US dollars
3. Any other document that shows his relation with companies or business in his country.
4. Ant other document that shows his status as business man.-
Comments
– All these documents, should be legalized in the consulate of Costa Rica in his country and translated into the Spanish language and has to be sending to us with the power of attorney.
– Once we get all this documents, we will be able to start the process in our Immigration Offices.
– And for those cases when the VISA is approved, the applicants should visit our Costa Rican consulate in their country, to stamp the visa in their passport .-
– In those cases where the petitions is rejected, is not possible to appeal the decision, but the applicant can apply again 4 months later.
– The applicant will not get a legal residency status, just a visa to stay in Costa Rica for a previously and determinate period of time.-
